Money School

Helping you achieve financial independence

Achieving Financial Independence (AFI) Course

Attention Adults:

Want to master money and reclaim your life?

‘Time poor’ is the catch-cry of our era, and yet end-of-life retirement means we have an average of two decades of feeling time rich to look forward to . . . when we’re old. How arse-about is that?

But there is an alternative to working your butt off for decades and retiring when you’re worn out: it’s called financial independence, and it means being able to cover life’s essentials and afford the luxuries you want without having to turn up to a job each day.

The thought of financial independence is exciting…

You want enough money to cover your lifestyle without agonising over every last dollar.

You want to feel confident with money, and to use it wisely.

(You also want to be able to sleep ay night without worrying about an unexpected bill ruining your month!)

The thought of getting your finances sorted so you can lead the life you want to live is deeply satisfying.

…but you’re not sure where to start…

You don’t feel as though you’re good with money,

OR

You don’t feel confident in the area of mathematics,

OR

You just don’t know if you’ve got the time to learn all you need to in order to manage your money wisely.

Good news: We’re here to help you.

Who are we?

We’re the mother-daughter team that founded Money School.

Fran White (a.k.a. Mum, Nanna Fran) is an accountant who went from being a single parent earning $30,000 a year to self-funded retiree over a couple of decades.

Fran came late to investing, buying her first shares at 49 years old. She discovered a passion for wealth management and kindled that in her children, who she taught about money in their teens.

Lacey is Fran’s eldest daughter. Thanks to Fran’s guidance, Lacey saved heavily throughout high school and university, which enabled her to buy her first property at 19 years old while in her second year of her chemical engineering degree.

Lacey continued investing in assets that now generate a passive income so today she can choose when, how and where she works – a wonderful advantage while her children are young.

We know what it’s like not to have money..

When Fran became a single parent in her early 40’s, responsible for housing and raising two girls on a $30,000 salary, she had to become a diligent manager of money. She didn’t really have a choice!

We remember what it’s like to be cautious about every dollar, though we never felt we ‘went without’.

Fran especially remembers how tough it was to have only enough to live on, and nothing available for saving. She bode her time until there WAS some extra money, which happened in her late 40’s. At that point, she began her investing career.

As Fran learned, so she taught her daughters. Lacey especially took a keen interest, and so began investing in her teens. (Watch Lacey’s TEDx video to see how well it’s panned out – you’ll see why we’re so keen for others to learn this stuff!)

Since 2010, we’ve been helping families get comprehensive, independent financial education. During that time, we’ve noticed how many adults feel ill-equipped to deal with money effectively. The AFI Course is how we help those adults.

Introducing Money School

We help adults master money.

Our students follows a simple process:

  1. Watch our videos to learn essential financial skills.
  2. Apply those skills to your own situation, building your own financial plan as they go in our workbooks.

There are three modules in the course designed to give you the skills required to become financially independent.

What do Money School members get?

Our members get access to our outstanding online financial education program for adults: the Achieving Financial Independence (AFI) course.

Our training will guide you through the skills you will need, and our online community will support you along the way.

Imagine what it would mean for you if:

– you were on the path to financial independence?

– you could manage your own money, feeling confident in your decisions?

– you didn’t lose sleep over money?

No need to imagine – this can be your reality.

Inside Money School you’ll get the three things you need to make this happen:

1. Exceptional training

Our courses cover all the essential skills you will need to become financially independent.

You’ll get access to videos and activities to complete in our exclusive, members-only website.

All course materials are available to you 24/7, so you can follow along at your own pace.

Our training videos are fun and to the point – there’s no fluffing around so you don’t waste time.  We make the process of financial education simple, sticking to three rules of financial independence:

– Save,

– Buy assets, and

– Avoid bad debt.

2. Inclusive community

Our online community is where the magic will happen.

It’s where our students come together to help each other succeed. It’s a place to ask questions, to find answers, to celebrate your wins, and to encourage each other. The Money School team will be active in the community, answering questions and providing guidance – and so will your fellow Money Schoolers.

It’s like getting access to the experts and the ‘hive mind’ all in one!

3. Outstanding support

Our mission is to help YOU succeed.

If you’ve got questions, we’ll be there to provide answers – and if we don’t know, we’ll find someone who does.

We run live Q&A sessions, answer questions you post, whatever it takes to help you succeed.

“No BS course that gives you the information and methods you need to apply to get back on track and have a realistic and actually even optimistic view of your finances.

A course like this should be universally mandatory!”

Nina Polo Marcellier, New Caledonia

Language Consultant

“How much time will this take? I’m kinda busy…”

We get it – you’re flat out. Yhere’s rarely a spare minute in the day.

Our aim is to make you feel time rich, not time poor. We’ve designed Money School accordingly.

It will take around an hour a week over three months to complete the course materials thoroughly, and you’ll have access for 12 months so you’ve got plenty of time.

You can do that at whatever time suits you – with 24/7 access, it’s your choice.

If you miss a week or two – while you’re on holidays or unwell for example – no biggie. Just pick up where you left off when you get back.

“Can I afford it?”

We’ve priced the course well below the market value, which independent curriculum developers tell us would be the $1,500 to $2,000 range, because we wanted to make this program accessible for as many families as possible.

The value we deliver far exceeds the course cost, but we didn’t want anyone to miss out because those who can’t afford our education may be those who most need it.

So you’ll pay just $397 (including transaction fees and taxes) for 12 months access to the course.

We hope you’ll agree that this deal is a no-brainer.

“Do I have to decide right now?”

No, you don’t. But:

The sooner you start, the sooner you’ll get there.

Financial independence isn’t a yes/no thing. It’s a how-long-is-a-piece-of-string thing. The single greatest advantage you have is time. The sooner you start, the sooner you’ll be able to harness what Einstein called the most powerful force in the universe: compounding!

Every day that passes either moves you closer to that point where you choose if, when, where, how and with whom you work… or it doesn’t. The choice is yours.

See you inside!
